Say goodbye to sea pollution through solar ferries

The traditional boats consume 15 to 20 litres of subsidized fuel and requires nearly Rs 10,000 as maintenance cost per year. In collaboration with the Shell Foundation to assist small and medium-sized fisherman, NavAlt Solar and Electric Boats are designing India's first solar-powered ferry boat. By promoting alternative energy, it saves 35,000 gallons of diesel each year and helps minimizing CO2 emissions.
